Phlebotomist

Phlebotomist – Clarksboro, NJ Work Schedule: Monday – Thursday 8:00 am – 3:30 pm; Friday 8:00 am – 2:30 pm Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Process billing information and collect payments as necessary Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or at least 3 months of experience as a phlebotomist Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or training program must come from an accredited agency if work experience is lacking Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision Reliable transportation Flexibility to work overtime as needed Able to pass a standardized color‑blindness test Compensation and Benefits Pay Range: $17.75–$24.00 per hour Eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), PTO/FTO, tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan Employees scheduled to work fewer than 20 hours, or who are casual, intern, or temporary, are eligible only for the 401(k) plan Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule receive all benefits except PTO/FTO Equal Opportunity Employer Labcorp is a proud equal‑opportunity employer.
