Role Summary:


The Salesforce Technical Architect serves as the senior technical lead responsible for enterprise architecture, Salesforce Education Cloud/EDA alignment, integration strategy, security model design, accessibility compliance, and ensuring all development conforms to Salesforce best practices and NPS SIS modernization requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead enterpriselevel Salesforce architecture supporting SIS modernization.

• Design scalable data models aligned with Salesforce Education Cloud and EDA.

• Define and implement Salesforce security models, sharing rules, permission sets, and role hierarchies.

• Architect REST/SOAP integrations with legacy SIS and external systems.

• Oversee data migration, cleansing, transformation, and validation activities.

• Ensure compliance with Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility requirements.

• Conduct requirements analysis, workflow reviews, and futurestate process mapping.

• Participate in design reviews, technical solution reviews, and release planning.

• Provide technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and CDRL A005 deliverables.

• Support CI/CD strategy, environment management, and version control governance.

• Provide knowledge transfer and technical guidance to Government personnel.

Minimum Education (per RFQ): Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. OR an additional eight (10) years of enterprise software development experience.

Required Experience (per RFQ):

• Minimum 10 years enterprise application development.

• Minimum 5 years Salesforce platform development.

• Minimum 3 years designing Salesforce security models.

• Minimum 3 years REST/SOAP and APIbased integrations.

• Minimum 2 years accessibility implementation (Section 508, WCAG 2.1 AA).

• Minimum 2 years data migration and conversion.

• Minimum 1 year Salesforce Education Cloud and/or EDA.

Required Certifications (per RFQ):

• Salesforce Administrator

• Salesforce Platform Developer II

• Salesforce Application Architect

• Salesforce Integration Architect

This is a remote position.


Compensation: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
