Salesforce Marketing/Data Technical Architect The opportunity This is a rapidly growing area, so you will have plenty of opportunity to spread your wings and develop your skillset to keep up with the ever-growing demands of the digital landscape. Most of your time will be spent embedded with our clients' team and we’ll look to you to provide our clients with a unique technical perspective on how they must continue to innovate and remain competitive in this ever-changing industry. As a Manager in Technical Architecture, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between complex business problems and innovative technical solutions. You will be instrumental in understanding technical requirements and aligning the technical architecture with the solution architecture that translates these requirements into effective, workable solutions. Your expertise will guide technical decisions to ensure they align with business outcomes, offering recommendations that propel the business forward. Responsibilities Your Key Responsibilities In this role, you will focus on the effective management and delivery of technical Salesforce Marketing and Data 360 solutions, ensuring quality and risk management. You will engage in continuous process improvement and the identification of innovative solutions. Your responsibilities will include: Developing solutions to complex problems and recommending policy changes. Establishing procedures that affect your immediate work area and possibly the broader business function. Exercising judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Your success will be driven by your proficiency in: Excellent oral and written communication skills, comfort leading conversations with audiences of all levels Ability to lead technical discovery meetings to identify system requirements and establish an understanding of the technical solution in alignment with functional leads Willingness to participate in the pre-sales process as needed for RFPs and SOWs Ability to lead the technical design and architecture of the Salesforce Marketing and Data 360 platforms Willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and get hands-on with new technology and serve as a technical expert in solving complex, enterprise-scaled problems Demonstrable knowledge of Salesforce Marketing and Data 360 configuration, customization, coding, automation and platform capabilities and limitations Work with developers to define and create specifications for any custom code or data integration requirements and limitations, including development of proof-of-concept scenarios as necessary Ability to identify potential risks (people and technology), working with functional leads and develop plans for mitigation Application and Tool Analysis Cloud Computing Marketing Architecture Cybersecurity and Privacy Architecture Complex Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking Building and Managing Relationships Communicating With Impact Qualifications To qualify for the role, you must have A Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree) Typically, no less than 4 - 6 years relevant experience implementing Salesforce Marketing and Data Cloud platforms with teams of 5 or more people and hands-on experience with configuration and customizations Minimum of 3 years of experience leading teams of developers Minimum of 2 years of Marketing and data technical architecture experience on enterprise projects Minimum of 5 years of experience with object-oriented programming languages SQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, SSJS, JSON/REST APIs, AmpScript Minimum of 3 years of experience with Force.com platform out-of-the-box functionality, including best practices regarding security and automation Minimum of 2 years of experience integrating Salesforce with external systems Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud certifications Expertise with relational database concepts Ability to be a self-starter and handle multiple tasks and priorities Willingness to travel based on client needs Ideally, you’ll also have Ideally, you’ll also have Degree emphasis in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, MIS, Mathematics desired; Master’s degree in one of these areas preferred One or more of the following certifications: Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, Experience Cloud Consultant or any Salesforce Architect Certifications Experience with Force.com platform programming in Apex, Lightning Web Components, and SOQL Experience integrating Salesforce Marketing products with Adobe products Trailhead Ranger Rank Agentblazer Innovator Rank Previous experience leading offshore or nearshore development teams is a plus What We Look For What We Look For We are looking for individuals who are not only experts in their technical field but who also have the drive to lead, innovate, and collaborate to solve complex business challenges. We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $139,100 to $254,900. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $166,900 to $289,700. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
