Description Location: UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central - Colorado Springs Department: Staffing Office / Float Pool Work Schedule: Full Time, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Day and Night Rotation or Nights Pay: $35.29 - $54.71 / hour (dependent on relevant experience) Position type: Onsite role (no hybrid or remote option). Minimum Requirements Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program. State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). 6 months of ICU nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program. ACLS certification. BLS (American Heart Association/American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer) card in-hand before start date; must be valid for 60 days after hire. Responsibilities Provides top‑of‑scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process. Values a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes. Prioritizes wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence‑based practice. Models proficiency through precepting new team members and/or UCHealth staff. Welcomes new knowledge in a fast‑paced, innovative clinical environment. Direct care in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in a technically complex environment. Utilizes AACN's Synergy Model and various specialty certification standards as part of evidence‑based care models for the ICU. Receives support and guidance from Clinical Educators for individualized specialty education and training for competency validation during orientation.
