Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Accountant to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $33.00 to $38.00 per hour. Job Responsibilities Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities while ensuring accurate processing and recordkeeping. Prepare account reconciliations and maintain general ledger accuracy through routine financial reviews. Process payments and monitor financial transactions to support daily accounting operations. Assist with month end close activities and prepare reports that support management and external business partners. Research and resolve accounting discrepancies while maintaining organized financial documentation. Requirements 2+ years of accounting experience in a professional business environment. Demonstrate knowledge of accounting principles financial reporting and reconciliation processes. Possess experience preparing sales tax reports and supporting compliance related activities. Maintain proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications. Work independently while managing multiple priorities and meeting established deadlines. Qualifications Apply strong attention to detail when reviewing transactions preparing reports and maintaining financial records. Demonstrate excellent organizational and problem solving skills in a fast paced environment. Communicate effectively with management lenders vendors and internal stakeholders. Prepare accurate financial statements and supporting documentation for business reporting needs.
