Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our production team as Machine Assistants. This critical role involves supporting the production process by feeding raw corrugated sheets into machines, catching and stacking finished product bundles in the correct orientation according to customer specifications, and assisting with various tasks to ensure smooth operations. The Machine Assistant will work closely with machine operators to maintain efficiency, inspect product quality, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Due to production demands and staffing needs, this position requires flexibility to assist with additional tasks such as assembling, banding, stitching, and gluing to support the overall workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Material Handling : Load raw corrugated sheets into machines and stack finished bundles accurately, ensuring compliance with customer specifications.
• Production Support : Collaborate with machine operators to maintain a steady workflow, preventing bottlenecks and optimizing efficiency.
• Machine Monitoring : Observe machine performance and adjust feeding or stacking rates as needed to ensure smooth operation and consistent output.
• Quality Control : Regularly inspect products for defects, ensuring they meet company and customer quality standards.
• Workplace Maintenance : Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Safety Compliance : Adhere to all workplace safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a secure working environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Language Skills : Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with coworkers and supervisors.
• Physical Requirements :
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as part of regular job duties.
• Reliability : Strong punctuality and consistent attendance are essential for maintaining production schedules.
• Experience : 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Basic Math Skills : Ability to perform fractions, unit conversions, and measurements for accurate production calculations.
• Work Environment : Comfortable working in noisy environments and variable conditions.
