District Sales Manager

District Sales Manager – In the field Location: Fort Myers, Fort Lauderdale, & Melbourne, Florida Responsibilities Achieve the annual operating plan by partnering with distributors to increase route averages and recruiting new distributors into the territory. Drive coaching sessions through 3–4 days of “truck ride‑along” visits each week, including 2 weeks of initial training and optional 2‑week refresher periods for new starts. Attract and retain distributors within the Mac Tools business. Conduct new franchisee training (2‑week ride‑along) and complete the field‑start process for all new distributors, revisiting as needed under direction from the Regional Manager and Regional Business Analyst. Lead monthly Field Excellence Meetings with the entire district. Participate in Student Tech shows and other promotional events. Manage regional credits and adjustments. Perform route surveys for all new starts and as requested by the Regional Manager. Qualifications Prior experience in the mobile tool sales industry. Demonstrated success in recruiting new talent into an organization. Strong organizational and time‑management skills with solid business acumen. Relationship‑building skills and a deep knowledge of the local automotive repair market. Background as a small‑business owner or experience coaching and mentoring small‑business owners. Minimum 5 years of route/field sales experience. Minimum 2 years of management experience directing multiple field/route sales professionals. Willingness to travel up to 80% within the specified sales territory and possibly outside the territory, including periods of up to two weeks at a time. Physical ability to lift over 10 pounds, bend, twist, and push as required. Willingness to reside in the sales territory (South‑central Florida – near/in Fort Myers, Fort Lauderdale, or Melbourne). Compensation The Total Target Cash Compensation range for this position is $84,000.00 – $132,500.00. This range includes base salary and variable cash compensation. The role is eligible for a sales incentive plan or commission and may receive annual merit increases.
