Investment Allocation Associate

Job Description The Investment Allocation Associate will support the American Red Cross Investment team in analysis and documentation across all steps of the investment process, including portfolio construction, implementation, and monitoring, while contributing to the evolution of internal investment processes. Responsibilities Support the investment framework. Adapt and document the framework, track academic/technological advances, and improve IT and manual processes. Support investment analysis. Track macro‑economic conditions and valuations, cross‑analyze with external ideas, and document scenario analyses. Support portfolio construction. Design and risk‑analyze strategies at individual, sub‑portfolio, and overall portfolio levels, test models, and select implementations. Support portfolio implementation. Translate model results into trade orders, create transition plans for third‑party execution, and confirm trade approvals. Support portfolio monitoring. Design and track performance drivers, compare results to expectations, improve forecasts, attribution analysis, and document tracking. Education and Experience Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, physics, mathematics, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Skills & Abilities Knowledge of applicable principles, concepts, practices, and standards. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Proficiency in personal computer, word‑processing, spreadsheet, and database applications. Team‑player; ability to work collaboratively. Travel May travel and participate in meetings and conferences across the Red Cross system. Physical Requirements Typical office environment; may require prolonged sitting, operation of a vehicle, and working under challenging conditions. Ability to perform and thrive under pressure in a rapidly changing multidimensional environment. Salary Information The salary range for this position is $108,000 – $115,000. Salary may be adjusted based on geographic location, skills, experience, and internal comparability.
