ELECTRICAL DESIGNER (MEP)

REVIT | BUILDING SYSTEMS | ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING

A growing engineering and design firm is seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to support the design of commercial and institutional building systems. Competitive compensation based on experience, with a comprehensive benefits package!

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design electrical and technology systems for building projects.
Prepare construction drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
Design power distribution, lighting, lighting controls, grounding, fire alarm, telecommunications, security, and other low-voltage systems.
Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other design disciplines.
Perform field investigations and occasional construction site visits.
Review submittals and support projects through construction.
Apply knowledge of the NEC, NFPA, and applicable codes.

QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of electrical and/or technology design experience.
Strong Revit proficiency required.
Experience with AutoCAD and building electrical systems.
Knowledge of NEC and NFPA standards.
Bachelor's degree, FE/EIT, PE-track status, or certifications such as RCDD or LEED are preferred.
