Job Summary We are currently hiring a qualified Laboratory Assistant for an immediate Contract opening (Rotating shift) in Mammoth Lakes, CA. In this position, the professional will support laboratory operations by receiving, accessioning, and preparing clinical specimens for diagnostic laboratory analysis. Primary responsibilities include: receive, inspect, and accession clinical laboratory specimens into the laboratory information system (LIS), centrifuge, aliquot, and prepare biological samples for testing departments or reference lab transport, and perform basic maintenance on lab centrifuges and specimen storage units, recording temperatures. Candidates must possess valid credentials/licensure, relevant clinical background, and a strong commitment to quality patient care.
