Collaborate with seasoned professionals for long-term career progression.Job DescriptionCMBS Real Estate Analyst OverviewThe CMBS Real Estate Analyst will support asset management functions for commercial real estate credit investments.Monitor property and portfolio performance, assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting tasks.Collaborate with seasoned professionals in asset management, loan origination, underwriting, and securitization.Gain on-the-job training with opportunities for long-term growth and progression within the firm.Hybrid work model with three days in-office and two days remote weekly.Engage in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, contributing to impactful decision-making processes.Enjoy competitive benefits including vacation accrual, personal days, and remote work weeks.Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize client service and operational efficiency.CMBS Real Estate Analyst Key Responsibilities & DutiesAnalyze financial performance of properties and portfolios, including CMBS loans and credit investments.Support property budget reviews, business plans, and quarterly reforecasts.Develop financial models using Excel and Argus for discounted cash flows and IRR analysis.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual investor reports and presentations.Administer loan proceeds disbursements, including construction draws and leasing costs.Ensure data aggregation and reporting accuracy for credit committee decision-making.Liaise with servicers and borrowers to optimize client service delivery.Collaborate with origination, legal, finance, securitization, and underwriting teams.CMBS Real Estate Analyst Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, real estate, or related field.Minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate or related industry.Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Argus for financial modeling.Understanding of real estate fundamentals, financing principles, and debt capital structures.Experience with loan servicing, construction loan administration, or commercial real estate valuation preferred.Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively.Effective oral and written communication skills for team collaboration.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding work environment.
