Requirements
- Valid license to practice in the state
- CPR certification required
- Previous Registered Nursing experience preferred

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients according to the nursing process.
- Provide education for patients and their families throughout the admission and discharge process.
- Document nursing process and pathway clearly, accurately, and legibly.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately, following physician orders.
- Notify physicians of relevant observations and changes in patient status.
- Ensure availability of equipment and supplies for patient care, reporting any malfunctions to the appropriate department.

Compliance / Notes
- Physical capacity demands involve exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently.
- The position may require frequent patient handling activity.
