Production Manager
COMPANY PROFILE:
A Nebraska-based advanced manufacturing facility specializes in producing high-quality equipment for the transportation, construction and agriculture industries. Using precision fabrication, welding, assembly, and lean manufacturing practices, the operation delivers durable, lightweight products designed to improve performance, reliability, and long-term value. WHAT THE COMPANY OFFERS YOU
- $90,000 - $120,000 +
- Bonuses of $5,000 - $10,0000
- Monday – Thursday (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
- Lead production operations to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery goals across multiple manufacturing areas.
- Plan, schedule, and optimize assembly operations using lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles to maximize efficiency and capacity.
- Develop, coach, and mentor production leaders and employees while ensuring effective training and performance management.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), production metrics, budgets, and labor utilization to drive operational excellence and cost improvements.
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, and other cross-functional teams to resolve production issues, improve processes, and reduce scrap, rework, and downtime.
- Support changing customer demand by maintaining production flexibility and implementing process improvements that enhance overall manufacturing performance.
Job Requirements
BACKGROUND PROFILE • 5–10 years of manufacturing experience, including 5–7 years in a production leadership role.• Experience managing multiple production lines, departments, or business units within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, production planning, and assembly operations.
• Proven leadership, coaching, communication, and team development skills with the ability to build high-performing teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word, and experience using production metrics to drive decision-making.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered. Contact:
