Responsibilities include: Teach theory, laboratory skills, and/or clinical instruction Prepare students for the California CNA certification examination Mentor and encourage transitional age youth and adult learners from diverse backgrounds Evaluate student competency and provide constructive feedback Maintain attendance and required documentation Foster a positive, professional learning environment Work collaboratively with the RN Program Director and instructional team Ensure compliance with California Department of Public Health (CDPH) requirements Qualifications RN Applicants Active California RN license Minimum two years of nursing experience Meets California CDPH instructor qualifications Passion for education and mentorship LVN Applicants Active California LVN license Minimum two years of nursing experience Meets California CDPH instructor qualifications Experience supervising CNAs preferred Teaching experience is welcome but not required.
