This full-time, contract position runs from August 10, 2026, through May 21, 2027, working 35 hours per week across two campuses. Your expertise will help identify and support learners by providing crucial assessment, evaluation, and advocacy services—especially for Spanish and English-speaking students.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in education or related field
- Valid Texas classroom teaching certificate
- Successful completion of the state certification exam for educational diagnosticians
- Minimum of 3 years full-time teaching experience
- Prior experience in a school-based setting required
- Fluency in both Spanish and English
- Ability to work on-site (remote/virtual is not available)
- Must complete fingerprinting per district requirements
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct educational assessments and evaluations for students across two assigned schools
- Efficiently manage testing, report writing, and participation in multidisciplinary meetings
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop individualized education plans
- Serve as a resource for best practices in assessment and intervention, specifically for bilingual learners
- Maintain accurate records and comply with regulatory requirements
