Master’s degree in Special Education, Educational Diagnostics, Psychology or a related field, active Educational Diagnostician license, and 1+ years Educational Diagnostician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, itinerant position spans two campuses and requires proficiency in both Spanish and English. You'll play a critical role in assessing students, composing detailed reports, and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in education or related field
• Current Texas classroom teaching certificate
• Minimum of three years full-time teaching experience
• State certification for educational diagnosticians (must have passed the relevant exam)
• Bilingual fluency in both Spanish and English
• Prior experience working in school-based teams
• Willingness to complete time-sensitive fingerprinting and credentialing requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive standardized and functional assessments of students across diverse grade levels
• Compile, interpret, and present diagnostic evaluation reports in both Spanish and English
• Collaborate with educators, faculty, families, and other professionals in meetings to evaluate and support student needs
• Assist schools in compliance with special education policies, documentation, and timelines
• Travel between two assigned district campuses as part of your weekly schedule
• Maintain confidentiality and exhibit cultural competency in all student/family interactions
