Phlebotomist-Float

Labcorp seeks a float phlebotomist for their Succasunna, New Jersey location to perform blood collections across multiple sites using venipuncture and capillary techniques. The role includes specimen preparation, patient data entry, and billing processing with a flexible Monday–Friday schedule plus rotating Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and similar assays
- Enter patient information and process billing with timely accuracy
- Prepare collected specimens for laboratory testing and maintain specimen logs
- Travel to additional clinical sites as needed to support float coverage
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1+ year phlebotomy experience or accredited certification program
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test; at least 21 years old
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
Compensation: $17.75–$24.00 per hour plus $1.00/hr float incentive and mileage reimbursement
