Personal Caregiver

Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing Help clients with mobility and physical activities, including transferring and repositioning Provide companionship and emotional support to clients Assist with meal planning and preparation Perform light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning and laundry Monitor and report any changes in client's health or behavior to the appropriate personnel Skills Compassionate and caring nature Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow instructions and work independently Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Patience and empathy when working with clients Physical stamina to meet the demands of the job Requirements Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required Current CPR Certification Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills Physical endurance to complete required tasks High school diploma or equivalent Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
