About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PACU Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year required; first timers accepted License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: - Experience with adolescent to geriatric patient population - Ability to float within facility as needed - Availability to work every other weekend and rotate on call during scheduled shifts - Compliance with all onboarding requirements Description: The role requires a registered nurse with a minimum of one year of experience in a PACU setting. The nurse will care for patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics. The nurse will be responsible for a patient ratio of 1:2. Floating to other units within the facility may be required based on patient care needs. The nurse must be willing to work every other weekend, including rotating on-call responsibilities on weekdays and weekends. Holidays will also be part of the role, with expectations to work a specified number of major holidays during the assignment period. Candidates must ensure full compliance with onboarding requirements before starting the position to avoid potential delays. Clinical fit will be evaluated, and candidates must pass a clinical review to proceed. All required care will involve interdisciplinary support, including physical therapy and pharmacy services.
