About the job CARDIOVASCULAR TECHNOLOGIST
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-
- Under general supervision, makes preparation, operates equipment and assists physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures special procedures; performs hemodynamic monitoring and other duties as assigned.
- Performs radiographic procedures of a highly specialized nature to demonstrate cardiac and vascular patency in a variety of anatomical parts.
- Recognizes the importance of supporting the team in general care of the patient and family member.
- Supports general efficient function of the lab by assisting in transporting patients to or from the Lab.
- 1 year of Previous Specials, Vascular, or Cardiac Cath Lab Tech experience required
- Florida State Registered Radiologic Technician
- Associate Degree or quivalent in Radiological Technology
- Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) registry, or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credential required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required
- ACLS must be obtained within 45 days of hire date
