Unit: 29-bed inpatient oncology floor
EHR: Meditech
Requirements: 2+ years oncology/Med Surg experience, at least 1 prior travel assignment, AHA BLS, NIHSS
Preferred: ONS certification for chemo
Ratios: 1:5, occasionally 1:6
Patient Population: Acute oncology symptoms, thrombocytopenia, neutropenia, sickle cell crisis, hematology, medical overflow, oncology, and end-of-life care
Telemetry: Central monitoring; RN not required to read strips
Float: Rarely to medical acute
Holidays: Rotate with staff
