Job Description

Job Summary:
The Sonographer will operate advanced ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic images, supporting medical teams in accurate patient diagnosis. The role involves performing various sonography procedures while ensuring patient comfort and image quality.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-quality ultrasound examinations for Abdomen, OB/GYN, and other specialties.
• Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and ensure their comfort.
• Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment regularly for optimal performance.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to interpret images and provide clinical insights.
• Ensure accurate documentation and timely submission of imaging results in compliance with industry standards.
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain patient confidentiality throughout all procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARDMS credentials (or equivalent) in Abdomen and OB/GYN specialties.
• Possess a current unencumbered Oregon sonography license.
• Demonstrate BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Have prior experience working in a hospital environment preferred.
• Exhibit strong technical skills and attention to detail.
