Sonographer - Diagnostic Imaging

Job Description

The Diagnostic Imaging teams utilize state-of-the-art imaging technology, providing essential information for fast and accurate diagnoses. Imaging services include X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, Bone Density, CT Scan, Digital Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound services, with the inclusion of PET-CT scans as a powerful diagnostic tool for cancer and other conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound equipment.
• Provide accurate and thorough patient assessments.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to enhance patient care.
• Maintain imaging equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARDMS credentials (or equivalent) in Abdomen and OB/GYN specialties required.
• Current unencumbered Oregon license in Sonography required.
• Healthcare Provider BLS certification required.
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Schedule

This position involves varied day shifts, with a requirement to work every weekend.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
