Senior Network & Infrastructure Technician

Levittown, New York, United States May 1, 2026 $80,000/year We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network & Infrastructure Technician with strong hands-on experience in enterprise networking and virtualized environments . This role requires expertise in routing, switching, firewalls, and virtualization platforms, along with practical exposure to cloud services such as Azure. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in complex environments, troubleshooting advanced issues, and supporting both on‑premises and cloud-based infrastructure, with bonus experience in IP and cloud-based telephony solutions. This is an on-site position in Westbury, NY . The work hours are Monday - Friday from 8a – 4:00p. Our benefits include Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance; 401k with company match and PTO. Key Responsibilities Design, configure, implement, and support enterprise-level network infrastructure , including routers, switches, and firewalls Administer and troubleshoot routing and switching (VLANs, OSPF, BGP, spanning tree, QoS, etc.) Manage, maintain, and optimize firewall platforms (configuration, security policies, VPNs, and monitoring) Deploy, administer, and troubleshoot VMware environments , including ESXi hosts, vCenter, and virtual networking Support and maintain Microsoft Azure infrastructure , including virtual machines, networking, and hybrid connectivity Perform advanced troubleshooting across network, virtual, and cloud systems to quickly identify and resolve issues Assist with infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations Provide support and maintenance for IP and cloud-based phone systems (VoIP, SIP, call routing, and basic troubleshooting) Ensure systems follow industry best practices for security, reliability, and performance Document configurations, procedures, and solutions for long-term operational support Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve complex issues and improve infrastructure design Required Qualifications Strong hands-on experience with networking and routing in a production environment Proven experience with enterprise firewalls , switches, and routers Real-world experience administering VMware environments Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure , including networking and virtual machines Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and WAN technologies Experience troubleshooting complex network and infrastructure issues end-to-end Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with technical teams Strong documentation and communication skills Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications Experience with IP or Cloud Phone systems (VoIP, SIP, Microsoft Teams Phone, etc.) Familiarity with hybrid on-prem/cloud environments Exposure to network monitoring and security tools Relevant certifications (preferred but not required), such as: Cisco (CCNA / CCNP) VMware (VCP) Microsoft Azure (AZ-series certifications#LI-Onsite #FutureTechJobs #SG-1) Employment decisions at Future Tech Enterprise, Inc. will be based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
