Physical Therapist PRN

Role: The physical therapist assesses, plans, and implements rehabilitative programs to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, increase strength, and prevent deformity. Services are provided across the continuum, focusing on quality, cost-effectiveness, and patient satisfaction, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities: Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment plans, goals, and discharge strategies. Select and modify treatment activities, provide patient and family education, and document evaluations and sessions according to departmental protocols. Act as a resource for staff, patients, and families regarding rehabilitation services and equipment. Qualifications & Skills: Must have a graduate degree in physical therapy (Masters or Doctoral) from an accredited program, and hold a valid physical therapy license and BLS certification. Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills are essential. Additional Requirements: Participate in professional development, mandatory training, and orientation.
