We're looking for a Product Design Engineer to own the journey from first concept to production launch, blending hands-on engineering with strong project leadership. What You'll Do You'll be the driving force behind our product development projects, keeping timelines, budgets, and quality on track from day one. You'll: Own the full product development lifecycle — from concept to launch Lead multiple projects at once, hitting milestones and deliverables along the way Bring together Engineering, Design, Purchasing, Operations, Sales, and Marketing to keep everyone moving in the same direction Work with Sales and Design on product applications and compatibility, including quoting custom applications and troubleshooting Serve as the go-to contact for suppliers and manufacturing partners Spot risks early and put plans in place to keep projects on schedule Review designs, prototypes, BOMs, drawings, and specs for manufacturability and quality Lead design reviews and keep leadership in the loop on project status Support new product introduction, engineering changes, and ongoing product improvements Keep project documentation accurate and up to date Travel to suppliers or manufacturing facilities as needed What You Bring A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Product Development, or equivalent experience 5+ years leading product development or engineering projects A track record of taking products from concept through manufacturing Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and supplier management Experience working with both domestic and overseas manufacturers Skills That Set You Apart Strong project management and organizational chops Proficiency with SolidWorks and Microsoft Office A knack for juggling multiple projects without dropping the ball Confident leadership, sharp problem-solving, and sound decision-making Based at our San Antonio HQ Status: Full Time EEO Information The company is an Equal Opportunity Employer, a drug-free workplace, and complies with ADA regulations as applicable. #J-18808-Ljbffr Evolving Solution Services
