Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Cath Lab - $3,346 per week

Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in McAllen, Texas.

Job Description & Requirements

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (5x8s)
• Call Requirements:
  • One weekday of call per week
  • One weekend per month (Friday 3:30 PM through Monday 6:30 AM)

Location Requirement

• Must live within 50 miles of the facility.

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience monitoring diagnostic and therapeutic electrophysiology (EP) studies ( required )
• Recent acute care nursing experience required
• Knowledge of Micropace system is preferred
• Willingness to help educate and mentor staff at McAllen Heart Hospital

Required Credentials

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state
• NIHSS certification
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification

Education

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved Registered Nurse program (required)
• BSN highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients during diagnostic and therapeutic electrophysiology procedures.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after EP procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary EP team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
• Assist with patient assessment, monitoring, documentation, and procedural support.
• Serve as a clinical resource by helping educate and support staff at McAllen Heart Hospital.
