Process Engineer

Summary:We are seeking a Process Engineer to join a growing metal manufacturing operation and play an important role in new product launches and process improvements. This position works closely with manufacturing, quality, sales, and engineering teams to develop tooling, improve production processes, and evaluate manufacturing capacity. You will have the opportunity to work on projects from initial planning through production while helping solve manufacturing challenges and improve efficiency. This is a great opportunity for an engineer with manufacturing experience who enjoys hands-on problem-solving and working across multiple teams.
Responsibilities:Develop manufacturing prints, bills of materials, routings, Process FMEAs, and Control Plans Create 2D and 3D CAD models for manufacturing tooling Support new product launches through the APQP process Evaluate production capacity for new and existing products Review potential new products for manufacturing feasibility Partner with production teams to troubleshoot manufacturing issues Lead and support continuous improvement projects focused on reducing waste and improving performance Assist quality teams with root cause analysis for internal and customer quality concerns Maintain and update engineering drawings, standards, and manufacturing processes Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, sales, and engineering teams throughout projects Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering Experience with metal manufacturing, tooling development, or fastener manufacturing preferred Automotive manufacturing experience highly preferred Working knowledge of APQP or similar product development processes Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement techniques Strong experience with 2D and 3D CAD software; AutoCAD and SolidWorks preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities accuratelyVacancy posted 1 day ago
