Catering & Sales Coordinator

Our hotel is looking for a hospitality professional with sales experience to help our team increase revenue. You'll act as a go-between for the sales team and the front desk, ensuring that our guests have a wonderful stay while helping to find new customers and increase our revenue. Additionally, you'll be responsible for responding to visitor queries, following up with referrals, and helping the sales team with administrative duties. Outstanding organizational skills and time management This position requires previous work experience in a hospitality role Exhibits superior communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities Displays a proven track record of sales success High school diploma or GED, and bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred Responsibilities Provide daily administrative support to the Director of Sales & Marketing. Prepare and distribute proposals, contracts, group resumes, Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), and other sales-related documents. Process rooming lists, group reservations, billing instructions, and reservation changes. Build Group blocks at Crowne Plaza and Fairfield by Marriott Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries, sales leads, and internal requests. Coordinate client site inspections, hotel tours, and planning meetings. Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports, production reports, and activity summaries. Manage sales files, contracts, and departmental records to ensure accuracy and organization. Serve as the primary administrative contact for assigned group bookings. Coordinate room blocks and reservation details with the Front Office and Revenue Management teams. Ensure all group requirements are communicated accurately to Operations, Banquets, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Engineering, and other departments. Assist with VIP arrivals, amenities, welcome gifts, and special guest requests. Maintain proactive communication with clients before, during, and after each event to ensure exceptional service. Monitor group pickup, rooming lists, and cutoff dates while communicating updates to clients and hotel leadership. Assist clients by acting as a point of contact and communicating with them by phone and email in response to their queries and requests Increase revenues by upselling and providing additional amenities and upgrades to customers to ensure they are entirely satisfied Assist sales team by managing schedules, filing important documents, and communicating relevant information Present prospective clients with sales presentations and other materials that promote event space, dining options, and facility features Prospect a list of company and referral leads generated through research, networking, social media, special events #J-18808-Ljbffr Crowne Plaza Philadelphia - King of Prussia
