Department: OPS | NUTRI Production Team Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties: The Institutional Services Assistant, in conjunction with other assistants and under the direction of a supervisor, cleans dishes, the kitchen area, food preparation equipment, and utensils. The Institutional Services Assistant also removes trash while maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment. Qualifications: Minimum: High School Diploma or GED Able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects Responsibilities: Washes dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using a dishwasher or manually then places the equipment in designated storage areas. Maintains kitchen work areas, floors, equipment, or utensils. Uses and stores chemical and cleaning supplies. Sorts and removes trash, placing it in designated pickup areas and clean/line garbage containers. May perform other duties as assigned.
