**Experience and Skills:** - Must have Level 1 Trauma Experience - Needs to be a well-rounded ICU nurse with 2 years (or more) experience in ICU - Level I trauma center and teaching hospital experience preferred - ICU Float Pool will be required to float amongst all ICU areas, as well as any MedSurg/Tele units - Expectation to function independently when floated to an outside area - Must be competent in sterile field as part of SIMs Lab skills - Must be able to read a tele strip - Experience with drips and all types of respiratory support (vents, CPAP, BiPAP, hi-flow) - Ability to receive assignment updates via GroupMe or phone **Certifications:** - BLS and ACLS required - NIHSS preferred but not required **Education:** - BSN not required **Licensure:** - License submission required and will wait for it **Additional Requirements:** - Must pass Advanced Dysrhythmia Exam with a minimum score of 80% within 2 attempts - Must complete SIMs Lab successfully on Day 1 - Must comply with weekend and holiday requirements based on unit needs **Other Information:** - Shift: 12 hour shifts, either 7AM-7:30PM or 7PM-7:30AM - Orientation: 2 shifts, with an additional shift if needed - Charting System: Cerner - Trauma Level: 1 - Care Setting: Acute - Division: Nursing
