Computed Tomography Technologist

CT Tech

CT Tech needed asap for 13 weeks. Required skills include performing routine and specialized examinations in the specialty area of CT, adapting procedures to obtain specific diagnostic and/or therapeutic results, and preparing patients for examinations. This requires independent judgment to adapt procedures to obtain specific diagnostic results under the direction of a radiologist.

Required skills and experience include a minimum of three (3) years of applicable experience, problem-solving skills, the ability to set priorities and organize work, excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, and the ability to work well with others. Stand-by call is also required. Basic reading, writing, oral English skills are necessary. Accountability, multicultural sensitivity, customer/patient focus, basic computer knowledge, critical thinking skills using independent judgment in making decisions, ability to respond appropriately to customer/co-worker, interaction with a wide variety of people, maintaining confidential information, and ability to communicate only the facts to recipients or to decline to reveal information are also required. Ability to project a professional, friendly, helpful demeanor is essential.

Associate's Degree Required. Certifications and licensure include ARRT (CT), IMEA (Illinois state) Rad Tech License, and BLS (American Heart Assoc.)
