Work Environment

This role is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work environment while ensuring that you can provide high-quality therapeutic services through telehealth platforms. Your work setting will require you to utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems to document sessions and manage client information securely.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to inform individualized treatment strategies that facilitate clients' personal growth.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions using modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy to address a range of emotional challenges.
• Engage in collaborative treatment planning with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to provide a holistic approach to client care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism.
• Stay abreast of current research and best practices in mental health, and participate in ongoing professional development through workshops and training opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LPC at the Mental Renewal Clinic, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals and families facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship issues. Your ability to connect with clients from varied backgrounds and tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs will significantly impact their therapeutic journey and overall mental wellness.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in providing counseling services, preferably within a clinical setting.
• Strong ethical knowledge relating to counseling practice, including legal regulations and standards.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish direct rapport with clients.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in trauma-informed care, substance abuse counseling, family therapy, or couples counseling is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems to streamline client management and treatment documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in team settings and engage effectively with interdisciplinary health care professionals.

• Competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, based on caseload and experience.
