Why Work Here Award-winning organization recognized for innovation and quality in its industry Strong leadership with a commitment to employee growth and internal advancement Flexible hybrid work environment supporting work-life balance Collaborative culture where finance and operations partner closely for success Responsibilities for the Project Billing Specialist Prepare and process customer invoices based on contract terms, project milestones, time & materials, or fixed-fee agreements Review project costs, labor hours, expenses, and documentation to ensure accurate, timely billing Collaborate with project managers and accounting teams to resolve discrepancies and customer inquiries Monitor accounts receivable for assigned projects, follow up on outstanding invoices, and assist with collections Maintain billing records, reconcile project revenue, and support month-end close and reporting This Project Billing Specialist role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with cross-functional teams while owning the billing lifecycle end-to-end. Qualifications for the Project Billing Specialist Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3 years of project billing or contract billing experience Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis) Epicor experience is a huge plus Must be a U.S. Citizen A successful Project Billing Specialist will bring strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
