Overview
We are seeking a friendly and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our growing team as our practice continues to expand.
Part-Time and Full-Time positions available.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting oral health. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control practices, and patient assessment techniques. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dental team to ensure a comfortable and efficient experience for patients.
We are a very caring and family-oriented group that looks to create a warm and friendly atmosphere for our patients and our team.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
- Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Assist in the development of individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments performed.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
- Utilize medical imaging tools as needed for diagnostic purposes.
Qualifications
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and dental terminology.
- Strong skills in patient assessment and patient care.
- Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic technique is essential.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health.
