How You'll Make An Impact In This Role

• Prepare the operating suite with sterile drapes, solutions, and the appropriate sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies.
• Anticipate the surgeon's needs and efficiently hand over required instruments and supplies during the procedure.
• Assist with the safe preparation, transportation, positioning, and draping of patients to ensure comfort and surgical access.
• Maintain all instruments in an organized manner while strictly monitoring and tracking counts before, during, and after procedures to ensure patient safety.

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted required.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What Additional Preferences We're Seeking

• 2+ years CST experience
