About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: 1 year of permanent experience in the specialty required License: Permanent Ohio license or Compact State license required Certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Must-Have: - Must have at least 12 months of permanent experience in specialty applying for. - Must have active certifications in hand at the time of submission. - One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required. Description: Position involves working in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. The role requires providing high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients. Nurses must work nights from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Travelers must work at least every other holiday. Traveler will undergo assessments during orientation, including an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate. An acceptable score on both assessments is mandatory. Travelers will have a maximum of two attempts to pass the assessments. Background checks will be reviewed, and candidates with open cases will not be accepted. Facility does not accept any license infractions. For those who are not nurses or CSTs, a nicotine-free requirement is mandatory. Candidates must complete a negative drug screening within 12 months prior to starting. Nurses must remain in compliance with annual education and competency requirements. Modules required can vary in length and time may not be compensated. Successful completion of all requirements will ensure continued employment in the facility.
