About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night and Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 12 months permanent experience in the specialty applying for. License: Permanent Ohio license or compact license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required. Must-Have: Must work at least every other holiday. Description: Maintains safe, effective, and optimal patient care. Performs assessments and develops individualized care plans. Monitors patient progress and modifies care plans as necessary. Documents patient care accurately and timely. Acts as a patient advocate and educates patients and families. Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members. Completes ECG rhythm recognition and safe medicament assessments. Receives two attempts maximum to pass assessments; otherwise, may be canceled. Must adhere to nicotine-free requirements, if applicable. All travelers may be subject to compliance checks. Reviews background checks thoroughly; no open cases accepted. Failure to meet competency requirements may result in removal from the schedule.
