Job Summary Power & Analog Design Engineer II – Onsite, McKinney, TX. This role supports the Multi‑Product Power & Digital (MPD) department’s FPGA and hardware designs for electronic warfare, radar, and effector products. The engineer will troubleshoot electronics, perform system and circuit‑level analysis, support failure investigations, maintain documentation, and design analog and power conversion circuitry. What You Will Do Assist with architecture development at the circuit card level. Design, analyze, test, and document analog and power conversion circuitry with a focus on board‑mounted power applications. Guide ECAD drafters through layout and routing activities with moderate senior support. Assist in layer stack‑up definition and support integration and verification in engineering laboratories. Define schedules for circuit‑level tasks and drive to meet schedule constraints. Function as an individual contributor while engaging in professional growth and development. Responsibilities Repair and troubleshoot electronics in lab or production environments. Perform system and circuit‑level analysis and support failure investigations. Create and maintain hardware and documentation for designs. Collaborate with multi‑discipline groups, including suppliers. Qualifications Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field. Design, analysis, simulation, or test experience with non‑isolated converter topologies (buck, boost, buck‑boost). Design, analysis, simulation, or test experience with analog electronics (FETs/BJTs, op‑amps, filters, clock/data termination, comparator circuits). Experience with MATLAB, MathCAD, LTSpice, Saber, or similar tools. Desired Skills 3.0 cumulative GPA from an ABET‑accredited institution. Relevant coursework in analog and/or power electronics. Proficiency with common lab equipment: power supplies, electronic loads, multimeters, signal sources, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers. Self‑starter with strong time‑management and ability to thrive in a dynamic team. Clear communication and documentation of technical topics. Salary & Benefits Salary range: $68,900 – $131,100 USD.
