Role Description This full-time, on-site Producer role is based in Miami, FL and focuses on generating new property and casualty insurance business while supporting existing clients. The Producer will prospect and qualify leads, conduct needs assessments, and recommend appropriate personal and commercial insurance products tailored to each client’s risk profile. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing quotes, presenting coverage options, explaining policy terms, and guiding clients through the application and underwriting process. The Producer will maintain ongoing relationships by handling renewals, policy changes, and coverage reviews, ensuring clients remain properly protected as their circumstances evolve. The role also involves collaborating with internal team members and carriers, staying current on market trends and local insurance regulations, and consistently meeting sales and service goals. Qualifications Strong sales, prospecting, and negotiation abilities to build and grow a book of business. Customer service and relationship management skills to support and retain clients over time. Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess risk, compare coverage options, and recommend appropriate policies. Clear verbal and written communication skills for explaining insurance concepts and documenting client interactions. Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple inquiries, quotes, and renewals efficiently. Active Florida property and casualty insurance license (or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe). Familiarity with personal and commercial insurance products, preferably in the South Florida market. Comfort working with insurance management systems, rating tools, and standard office software. Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site agency environment and adapt to evolving client needs.
