Labor Employment Associate

A nationally recognised labor and employment law firm is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate to join its Tampa office. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dedicated management-side employment practice, handling sophisticated litigation in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with direct client responsibility. Responsibilities Handle employment litigation matters from pleadings through discovery and depositions Draft and argue motions and respond to initial pleadings and discovery requests Manage a broad range of labor and employment disputes on behalf of employers Work independently while collaborating closely with partners and colleagues Deliver practical, high-quality legal solutions in a fast-paced practice Qualifications JD and admission to the Florida Bar 3–5+ years of direct labor and employment litigation experience Strong experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and taking depositions Excellent academic credentials and strong writing and analytical skills Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently and as part of a team Compensation & Benefits $175,000 - $275,000 Opportunity to join a nationally recognised management-side employment law platform Collaborative culture with meaningful responsibility and client exposure Strong mentorship and long-term professional development opportunities Comprehensive benefits package supporting health, wellbeing, and career growth Our advertisements use salary and experience as a guide only.
