746 McLaughlin Pl, Orange, NJ 07050, USA Malcolm House is a 24-hour psychiatric residential treatment facility program that provides short-term residential care for psychiatric/developmentally disabled clients. Duties Supervise, organize, and support recreational and/or socialization activities Play an active role in leading the milieu staff through youth’s structured routine while collaborating with youth’s case manager, clinician, and prescriber Engage and interact with youth based on behavioral intervention plans Observing, documenting, and acknowledging positive behaviors Perform all other duties as assigned Requirements High school diploma and 3 or more years working with youth in a group or behavioral setting. Bachelor degree in a related social service field with 1 year experience (Psychology, Sociology, Education, Public Health etc.), Psychology preferred. Preference to those interested in enrolling in an MSW program, to achieve growth within the agency. Must have a valid driver's license. Malcolm House is a program of Youth Consultation Service (YCS), which is a behavioral health and social services agency that has been caring for at risk children and families since 1918 in therapeutic residences, special education schools, in-home and in-community programs throughout NJ.
