This role involves loading and unloading products, maintaining delivery records, and adhering to safety standards. The Warehouse Driver plays a critical role in supporting the company's logistical operations and ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient delivery services. Key Responsibilities: * Transport goods and materials between the warehouse and specified destinations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. * Load and unload products safely, ensuring items are handled properly to prevent damage. * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs, mileage, and fuel consumption. * Inspect delivery vehicles regularly to ensure they are in good working condition and meet safety standards. * Communicate with customers to provide updates on delivery status and resolve any issues. * Follow all safety protocols and guidelines during transportation and delivery. * Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate order fulfillment and efficient loading processes. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and report any maintenance or repair needs. * Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies regarding transportation. * Assist with warehouse tasks as needed, including packing, labeling, and inventory management. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): * On-time delivery rate. * Accuracy of deliveries and condition of goods upon arrival. * Compliance with safety and regulatory standards. * Efficiency and accuracy in loading and unloading tasks. * Customer satisfaction and feedback regarding delivery services. * Maintenance and inspection records of delivery vehicles. * Fuel consumption and cost management. Key Challenges: * Ensuring timely and accurate deliveries amidst changing schedules and traffic conditions. * Maintaining the safety and integrity of goods during transportation. * Managing multiple deliveries and meeting tight deadlines. * Coordinating with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading and unloading processes. * Adapting to changes in delivery routes and customer requirements. Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Minimum of 2 years of experience in driving and logistics. * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) may be required based on vehicle type. * Proficiency in operating delivery vehicles and warehouse equipment. * Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation safety standards. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * High attention to detail and accuracy. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
