About the Role:
McColley's Irish Pub in Spencerport, NY is looking for a talented and passionate Line Cook to join our kitchen crew! If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in putting out great food, we want to hear from you. Come be part of a team that brings great food and good times to our community every day.

Part time- 20-25 hours per week- mix of shifts- some day hours start at noon, evenings and weekends a must. No late nights. Kitchen is open till 9pm Mon-Thurs and 10pm Friday and Saturday and 7:30pm on Sundays
Responsibilities:

• Prepare and execute menu items consistently according to recipes and plating standards
• Manage a station on the line during high-volume lunch and dinner service
• Maintain proper food storage, labeling, and rotation following FIFO practices
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of your station throughout the shift
• Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure smooth, timely ticket execution
• Assist with prep work including chopping, portioning, and stocking stations
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines in compliance with health codes
• Follow and execute cleaning duties

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a line cook, prep cook, or in a similar kitchen role preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
• Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one
