Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Management, or a related field preferred Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in human resources, payroll administration, or related administrative functions Experience in handling employee relations, HR compliance, and payroll processing preferred Previous experience supporting day-to-day office or operational functions strongly preferred Professional in Human Resources (PHR), SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), or equivalent certification preferred Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and payroll processes Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally Strong organizational and time-management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS/payroll systems Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to support employees at all levels Summary The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting and managing daily human resources operations while serving as a key resource for employees and leadership at St. Vincent Health. This position oversees payroll administration, employee relations, HR compliance, benefits coordination, onboarding, and general HR support functions. The HR Generalist serves as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns and helps ensure efficient day-to-day operations. Process and oversee payroll to ensure timely and accurate employee compensation Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and HR-related matters Support daily HR and office operations to maintain efficient workflow Coordinate employee onboarding, orientation, and offboarding activities Maintain employee records and ensure HR documentation compliance Assist with benefits administration, enrollment, and employee communications Support performance management and employee engagement initiatives Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies Assist managers and supervisors with employee relations and disciplinary matters Prepare HR reports, audits, and documentation as needed Coordinate training and development activities Recommend process improvements to enhance HR and operational efficiency Perform additional duties as assigned Physical Requirements and Work Environment Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and operating office equipment Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and electronically Occasional lifting of office materials up to 20 pounds Ability to move throughout the office environment as needed Primarily an office or professional administrative environment May require occasional travel between company locations or attendance at meetings and training sessions Standard business hours with occasional overtime as needed to meet payroll deadlines or operational demands Frequent interaction with employees, managers, and external vendors in a collaborative setting #J-18808-Ljbffr Kids for the Future
