Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Louisville, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and offers the opportunity to support a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team at Allied Universal while acting with integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, utility-related infrastructure, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific requirements. Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, patrols, observations, and other security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. An armed guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
