Project Manager

Summary The Project Manager is responsible for completing projects within budget, schedule, and quality outlined in the construction documents while maintaining client satisfaction. Lewis Contractors seeks a highly motivated, proven problem‑solver, with excellent client relationship management, proactive foresight, innovative thinking, and proven leadership in delivering construction projects. Description The Project Manager works side‑by‑side with the Field Superintendent to deliver construction projects. The Project Manager reports to the Project Executive. Duties include all necessary functions to deliver a complete project via CM‑at‑Risk, General Contractor, and Design/Build methods, including customer relations, financial management, subcontractor scope development, vendor procurement, subcontracts, change analysis, document coordination, proactive sequencing analysis, best‑value analysis, planning, phasing, scheduling, interface with design team, problem solving, commissioning, closeout, warranty, overall team management and leadership. The Project Manager shares responsibility for safety policies, quality control, and craftsmanship expectations. On certain projects, the Project Manager may participate in Preconstruction Services: budgeting, scheduling, phasing, constructability reviews, value analysis, cost‑benefit analysis, alternatives analysis, and other tasks as needed. Requirements Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Project Management with projects similar to those that Lewis Constructs. Higher education degree is a plus; a 4‑year or higher degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or related fields is also a plus. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with specialized construction software such as PlanGrid, Submittal Exchange, Sage Timberline, and other construction software is a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience in the Construction Management‑at‑risk delivery method is a plus; demonstrated experience in construction estimating is also desired.
