Staff Pharmacist Opportunity

A dynamic opportunity has opened for a Staff Pharmacist to provide specialized support in a high-volume pharmacy setting focused on HIV/AIDS patient care. This per diem role offers a 13-week contract-to-hire pathway with the potential to advance into a Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) position, ideal for candidates aiming to elevate their leadership within pharmacy management.

Location: Miami Gardens, FL

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM 5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM 12:30 PM
• No weekend shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications, specializing in HIV/AIDS therapies, ensuring patient safety and adherence to treatment plans.
• Provide compassionate, non-judgmental care to a sensitive patient population, building trust through respectful communication.
• Manage a fast-paced pharmacy environment, maintaining efficiency and quality under pressure.
• Collaborate closely with pharmacy technicians and healthcare providers across multiple clinic sites to optimize patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate pharmacy intuition by proactively identifying operational needs and stepping in to support team workflow.
• Uphold high standards of patient care, punctuality, and professionalism daily.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 years of retail or specialty pharmacy experience focusing on HIV/AIDS medications.
• Prior supervisory or pharmacy management experience preferred, with a strong interest in advancing to a leadership role.
• Proficiency in QS1 pharmacy software essential.
• Florida pharmacist license in good standing.
• Evidence of sensitivity and empathy towards HIV/AIDS patients explicitly noted in your resume.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
