We seek a highly motivated and compassionate pediatric behavioral therapist with RBT certification to join our team as a therapist for children ages 2-5.

As part of our  multidisciplinary clinic , you will have the opportunity to work with other professionals in the field to provide high-quality, comprehensive treatment to our clients.  Extensive initial training  is provided, and we are committed to providing  highly individualized ongoing training  and supervision to help you grow and develop as a therapist.

Our ABA program is unique in that it allows for the generalization of social-communication skills with peers by providing  on-site access to inclusive classrooms . Responsibilities:

• Execute customized treatment plan designed by BCBA
• Analyze and monitor child's progress through data collection
• Effectively communicate with families and team members, providing updates and addressing concerns
• Attend team meetings, supervision sessions, and training for skill and knowledge improvement
• Maintain detailed records of child's progress and behavior plans
• Collaborate with other treatment team members for holistic care
• Implement behavior management strategies under BCBA direction
• Observe and document child's progress, providing regular reports to BCBA and team
• Adhere to professional and ethical standards of care
• Obtain and maintain RBT certification.

Qualifications:

• RBT certification required, with 2+ years of experience working with children (aged 2-5) with developmental disabilities, including autism.
• Knowledge of ABA, child development/psychology, autism or related disorders preferred, but training is provided.
• Highly preferred to have PRT or ESDM knowledge or experience.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) required, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical requirements include comfort with extended periods of floor play, climbing stairs, assuming and maintaining various positions, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Requirements include being 18 years or older, having a high school education or equivalent, and passing criminal background and abuse registry checks.
• Willingness to learn new techniques and approaches is a must..
