Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Echo / Vascular Technologist to perform diagnostic cardiovascular imaging procedures to support physicians in diagnosing and monitoring cardiovascular conditions. The technologist will perform both echocardiograms and vascular ultrasound examinations, ensuring accurate imaging and high-quality diagnostic data for cardiologists and radiologists. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform limited and complete echocardiograms according to clinical protocols • Conduct vascular ultrasound examinations including carotid and abdominal aorta studies • Ensure accurate image acquisition and proper patient positioning for diagnostic imaging • Provide high-quality imaging data for cardiologists and radiologists to interpret • Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment safely and effectively • Document imaging procedures and results in PACS or electronic medical record systems • Ensure compliance with patient safety standards and infection control protocols • Communicate effectively with physicians and clinical staff regarding patient imaging needs • Maintain patient comfort and professionalism during diagnostic procedures • Work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining imaging accuracy

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification required • High school diploma or equivalent required • Associate's degree in Cardiovascular Ultrasound or related field preferred • Knowledge of echocardiography imaging techniques preferred • Knowledge of vascular sonography procedures preferred • Experience with PACS or imaging systems preferred • Strong attention to detail and diagnostic imaging skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment • Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
